Chrome 120 and Edge 120 are now available with general improvements

Two major software market players, Google and Microsoft, have updated their browsers. On December 6, Google introduced Chrome 120 stable, and today Microsoft Edge has reached the same version number. Both releases are a minor update without drastic changes, major additions, or anything like that. Here are the changes.

How to uninstall Microsoft Edge in Windows 11

You can now uninstall Edge from Windows 11 using two methods.  The first one unblocks the uninstaller under Apps > Installed apps in Settings. The other one is possible thanks to new EEA regulations Microsoft now follows. While the company has officially added this option for the EU users only, there is a workaround that allows anyone to remove the browser.

Microsoft Edge to get real-time video translation feature

Microsoft Edge will soon get a new feature that can translate videos on the fly. An option for that is already available to select Insiders, showing English, French, Spanish, and Russian as supported languages. In Edge Canary there is a new "Translate" button that appears when you hover over a video.

Edge 118 released with a new Find on Page feature

On October 13, Microsoft has started rolling out Edge 118 to the stable branch. While it is a relatively minor app update, it adds a new feature, Search on page. It uses an intellectual search algorithm that can find even misspelled words and synonyms. Besides, the release changes the Bing icon in the Sidebar to the Copilot icon. Finally, there are some policy and business-related updates.
